Part 4 of the photos taken everywhere in Tours, France.

Part 4 of the photos taken everywhere in Tours, France. This is the part 4 of the photos taken everywhere in Tours, France. I included the photos of the apartment where I am living, studying and eating French foods at present (within the period of my stay here) as given to me by my host family. By all accounts, Tours is a very safe city in comparison to other French cities. But if you don't speak French, you might get intimidated by homeless people asking you something in French, most likely asking for a spare change or a cigarette if they see you smoking. The quartiers to the south east of the city are best avoided at night, and there are many high-rise low-rent apartment buildings, but any area in Tours is safe during the daytime. If you want to plan to visit Tours, for a one month study or more, you can learn it even in a short period of time. If you really focus on learning the French language, of course, you can start speaking the language with ease. Learning it for the first time is so hard, but later on you have the passion to keep on absorbing what the words are about to be fed in mind or in store for you for a longer period of time until you speak the language fluently. Learning the language should be equally taken from the “outside communication to inside communication” (inside communication refers to school and outside communication refers to people in general). Try to visit, learn and see the difference. I am not promoting the place where I live (Tours), but this is how I experience at present while I am here in this beautiful and magnificent city in France.

There are a lot of beautiful places that each tourist can visit in Tours, France. Enjoy your stay in Tours, France.

Part 3: the photos taken from different places in Tours, France

What you have seen in these photos are the visited places in Tours, France that I took time with…taking pictures, etc. Even in the sacred destinations you can also see the similarities of the nice and huge buildings and other beautiful spots here in Tours. Try to see the photos and peruse the short narration and description below why Tours is considered the conservative and bourgeois city in France.Tours has long had a reputation as a conservative, bourgeois city, but the increasing numbers of commuters to Paris (now less than an hour away on the TGV line) have lived it up significantly. The surrounding Touraine region is known for its wines, its châteaux, and for the unaccented perfection of its spoken French. The religious importance of Tours centers on the popular figure of St. Martin, Bishop of Tours from 371 to 397, whose relics were the focus of medieval pilgrimages. Another important figure is Gregory of Tours, a church historian and bishop in the 6th century. All but two towers of the great medieval Basilica of St. Martin was destroyed in the Revolution, but this has since been replaced with a basilica that enshrines the few relics of Martin that survived the destruction. The Flamboyant Gothic Cathedral of St. Gatien has some fine 13th-century stained glass windows. There are a lot of beautiful places that each tourist can visit in Tours, France. Enjoy your stay in Tours, France.
