This horrid daydream
keeps me
Wishing for
falsehoods.
Each week—the given
days, are days
For me to seek
answers;
Answers that need a
lifetime
For me to find.
Annoyance and pain
dig down
To my essence,
And the mystery of
the past
Still seems unclear
to recollect.
In trying to get away
from this nightmare,
But misery is pulling
me back.
The past is still
bleeding at the back of my head.
Countenances of the
past are just a history
They become visible.
Faded stories are
starting to
burn,
And the painful melodies
from down under…
can be recognized by
degrees.
Apologies and
promises fail,
Memories flashback
and disgraces vanish into thin air.
Drastic life ends,
but undeniable facts
remain.
The heart stops
beating, but never breaks.
Friendship ends, and
couples separate
And the proved
reality is that nothing lasts eternally.
